The Charge of the Light Brigade History

We had to read the poem by Lord Tennyson. He made the war a symbol of the tragedy as well as the courage showed there. It was really a bad cavalry charge in the Battle of Balacava led by Lord Cardigan. This was during the Crimean War on October 25, 1854. The poem really just made this event more famous.
